Prime Video has released the full trailer for the Christmas comedy "The Man with the Bag" (Polish title: "Facet z workiem"). The film will be available on the service on 2 December 2026, as a worldwide VOD premiere.
What it is about
The leads are Arnold Schwarzenegger, who plays Santa Claus, and Alan Ritchson. Awkwafina also stars.
The plot begins with a theft: a rebellious elf, played by Awkwafina, takes Santa's sack. Christmas is suddenly in doubt. Santa uses his "naughty list" of children and finds a thief, Vance (Ritchson), who is to help recover the stolen goods.
Vance puts together a crew of other "naughty children". With a little help from elves and reindeer, the heroes plan the heist of a lifetime.
According to the filmmakers, the film will combine action scenes with humour and touching moments. It is distributed by Amazon and produced by Amazon MGM Studios. It was shot in New York.
Schwarzenegger as Santa
Schwarzenegger is known for action films such as "Terminator" and "Predator", but he has also appeared in comedies, such as "Twins" and "Junior". This is not his first Christmas film: in 1996 he starred in a comedy about a festive race for a toy (according to Wirtualna Polska).
What this means for you
Prime Video is available in the UK, and the premiere is meant to be global. The trailer has a Polish version, but the sources do not say whether the film will have Polish subtitles or dubbing, or what availability will be in individual countries. It is worth checking in the app before the premiere.
