Jeremy Sochan makes Texas Legends pre-season debut, scores 13 points

Jeremy Sochan has played his first game for his new club. The Polish basketball player appeared in a friendly for Texas Legends, who play in the G League, the NBA's developmental league. The friendly ended in a defeat for the Legends against the Cleveland Charge.

Sochan's stats

According to the Sportowe Fakty website, the 23-year-old scored 13 points, with two rebounds and two assists. These are the only figures the club published on social media. Details such as minutes played and shooting efficiency were not given.

Texas Legends posted short clips of his spectacular plays on X, including a fast-break dunk. Sportowe Fakty reports that the footage shows Sochan was full of energy in the friendly.

Start of the season

The debut came before the competition begins. Texas Legends will open the 2026/2027 G League season in the night from 8 to 9 November 2026, at 1:30 Polish time.

Sportowe Fakty says Sochan appeared for the first time in the colours of the club that picked him with the number 1 pick in the draft. The source does not explain in detail which draft this refers to or on what terms Sochan joined the team.

The site links the story to the NBA and the Dallas Mavericks, but the article does not expand on this. It is therefore unclear what plans the NBA club has for the player.

What next

Texas Legends' first competitive game will be the season opener in the G League. That is when it will be possible to judge what role Sochan will have in the team. For now only sparse statistics from the friendly are available, and a fuller picture of his form will come only once the league starts.

For fans in the UK, G League games can be hard to access, and the source gives no information about broadcast times. What is known is that the season opener in the night from 8 to 9 November 2026 falls at 1:30 Polish time.
